Puppy Pre School

Puppy Pre-school is a program designed to help you and your puppy learn from positive interactions with people and other similar aged puppies. We aim to help you develop a foundation for training based on leadership and trust and give you the tools to help shape good behaviour. During the class we will be introducing you and your puppy to  positive reinforcement and will discuss when and why it is appropriate for puppy to follow your commands.

Puppies are most impressionable between the ages of 6 to 16 weeks. It is therefore most important to begin socialisation and training during the first few weeks of taking your puppy home. We reccomend attending 4-5 classes to gain the most from this critical socialisation period.

Your class teachers are Tanya and Lucy who are both Professional Dog Trainers and Veterinary Nurses. They are there to help and are experienced and qualified to answer your questions regarding puppy behaviour and health.

Classes are held at The Brighton Vet every Thursday at 7.30pm

Classes cost $22 and run for approximately 60-90minutes.

Your class fee includes a booklet written by our trainers covering all the class content.
